I published my first retro post in 2015: Taming of the Brut. Ten years later, I’m back revisiting the iconic men’s grooming brand.
Pulling in sporting stars Henry Cooper, Barry Sheen and Kevin Keegan for their television advertising, Brut stood top of the UK aftershave podium during the 1970s.
If you thought the Brut range was just limited to aftershave, splash on lotion and deodorant, you’d be wrong… check out their range of other brutiful products that don’t beat around the bush (see below).
I’m going for the talc, luxury soap and roll on deodorant – the perfect trio for my after gym shower and spruce up. I’d be strutting out the gym smelling manly and feeling proud that I’ve paid homage to 1970s men’s grooming.
